We only talked a few days ago about the possibility of me putting myself out there again and he’s presumptuous enough to think he can fix me up on my first date in ages? The feeling is exceptional; it’s unlike anything I’ve ever felt before. I’m lost in it and to it.

I pressed myself up against Cole, my face an inch from his.  My heart was thumping wildly, my blood was buzzing with fury.

“I am sick of your bullshit, Cole.  You better walk the line tonight or you’ll be sorry.  Do I make myself clear?  I didn’t come all this way to be humiliated by you.  If you want me here, then fucking act like it,” I hissed. 

Cole’s eyes snapped and sizzled, his chest heaving up and down.  He was flushed and just as furious as I was.

Then he grabbed the back of my head, his fingers curling into my hair and smashed his mouth down on mine.

Max Taylor

Max Taylor 25, lives in winchelea where he was born and raised. He lives with his mother and owns he deceased fathers car garage. In his spare time he loves nothing better than hanging out at the local bar with his mate shooting pool.

I was born and raised in a small town that until maybe a year ago, you couldn't find on a map. After high school I did what every wild child from a small town would do and kicked rocks to the farthest college I could go to. Which happened to be about 20 miles out of town, I didn't trust my old clunker of a truck to go much farther than that. After graduating college with a shiny new piece of paper hung in a $3.00 Wal-mart frame I got my first "big girl" job with Synovus Financial Corporation.

During the five years I stayed at the company, I bought a new truck, moved into my own apartment (in the same small town), and met the man who would eventually accept my craziness and ask me to marry him. I am privileged to call myself a US Navy Wife. My husband currently serves on the USS Hue City, which has been deployed more times during our marriage than it has been home. But we look forward to a three year shore duty in Colorado Springs.
