Reviwe Blitz: Love, Lies & the D.A by Rebecca Rohman

18 de febrero de 2014

Rebecca Rohman is a wife and designer currently living in the Northeastern United States. She was a Sales Manager for a tourist magazine, and for many years prior, she was  involved in marketing for a jewelry company, and later for a fine wine distributor.
About fifteen years ago, she started writing her first romance novel, Uncorked, just to purely entertain herself. It was not until early in 2012 when she decided to complete it and share it with the world. The story was published in February of 2013. Love, Lies & The D.A. is her second novel.

Jada McLean is about to get married in nine days, when she walks in on her fiancé in a little more than a compromising position. Days later, she’s on a trip that she intends to be relaxing and a prelude to her fresh start, when she runs into the rude, obnoxious, but gorgeous Jonathan Kole.
Jonathan Kole is San Francisco’s newest District Attorney. When he finds himself deeply attracted to a stunning beauty, he has no idea that she’s about to get into BIG trouble with the law—and he’ll be the one presiding over her trial. To make matters worse, his father is the lawyer representing her in the high-profile case.
When a series of events force them together over New Year’s weekend, Jonathan’s feelings and ethics will come into question, while Jada comes to terms with the fact that she is falling for the man that will be responsible for attempting to put her behind bars… Little do they know, they're both about to fall into a whirlwind so deep, it will send both their lives spiraling out of control.

This is so far the best book i've read this year, it has everything to be a succesful book, to start with it's well writting and the character are all well done that you get to conecct with them and i really love that about a book.
this is the story of a strong woman who has to deal with lies and betrayel and i really love how strong Jada is, she own a succesful company of Resorts, and what i like the most about this book is that actually it feels real its not the kind of "Oh i'm born super billionary and i'm a rich bitch", Jada didnt born rich she start from the ground with a ten-rooms hotel so i can feel that im reading a real person auto-biography you know i love it. and i can empathize with her...
this book will drawn you in since page one, when we and Jada will discover her asshole fience fucking with her best friend Koto (i love the names for all the characters) then we see Jada trying to move on so she goes to Lake Tahoe (i really love that place so good choice Rebecca) and she meets Jonathan Kole (Oh my, he's an alpha male)
Jonathan is the perfect book boyfriend not only because he's a lawyer (as y'all know Im studying Laws) he's so protective i really love the way he loves Jada (to be honest im Jealous).
That said this book is so suspenseful you know? When all that happened with Richard started.. wow it keep me guessing "What Happen? Who do this to him? Who wants to hurt Jada? and Why are they doing this? and like Jada i became so paranoid seriously i start doubting to everyone... THAT'S what makes this book a perfect 5 stars(minibooks) book. i really love that in a book.
